The biggest surprise took place in Gjakove where host KosovanVellaznimi (3-0) beat league's leader Albanian Beselidhja (3-1) 89-83 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Beselidhja. It was a key game for the top position in the league. 27 personal fouls committed by Beselidhja helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Jericole Hellems (201-1999, college: NC State, agency: GSE Worldwide) fired 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Don Polloshka (171-2002) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Center Vinsent Grazhdani (203-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American guard Josh Angle (191-2000, college: CMS) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Vellaznimi have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Defending Albanian champion Beselidhja dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sigal Prishtina.
